1 Euro 2001 totaly brass color. The nice image was oprovided by Richard R. from Netherland, this is what he says: "[this coin] went in the food vendor machine en passed the electronic verifier so conductivity is comparable to the1 euro coin.
Being an engineer by education I was wondered if the inside was stamped out, seeing the marks, it was so, but is was replaced by a brass inside. By holding an ocular screwed out of a binocular onto a camcorder imanaged to make high zoom details of the probably wrong material inner fitting." Thank you Richard.
